What is the maximum loss? Static vs trailing

The maximum total loss from your starting balance. Two-Step is static; One-Step and Instant are trailing.

Maximum (overall) loss

  • Two-Step: 10% (static) - the floor is fixed at your starting balance minus 10% and never moves.
  • One-Step and Instant: 6% (trailing) - the floor follows your equity high, ratchets up and never drops, then locks at your starting balance (break-even).

A breach happens when your equity (including floating losses) reaches the floor.
